Bassdash Fleece Hoodie – My Best Overall Fishing Hoodie Pick!
The Bassdash Men’s Fishing Fleece Hoodie has a built-in neck gaiter and is water resistant. This, in my opinion, is the best hoodie to wear throughout the spring, autumn, and winter periods. You can wear this as a perfect layer under your fishing jacket during colder weather.
This hoodie is super warm but loose enough that it won’t feel restricted when making casts or walking around. It’s a thick hoodie with a fleece inner lining and 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex outer material. It’s an impressive option for anglers who want to wear a hoodie for long hours on a cold days fishing.
Not many hoodies are available with water-resistant properties and a stain-resistant treatment on the outside of the material. This makes cleaning dirt, slime, fishing bait, etc., so much easier to remove – again, we get dirty every trip we make to the river, lake, or boat! Fishing on cooler rainy days is far more enjoyable, knowing your hoodie can manage to keep dry during most wet days and light snowfall.
Quality-wise, this hoodie stands out over many on the market with its anti-static fabric and great stitching all around the material. The addition of the spandex material allows it to be stretchy enough for free movement – which is so important for fishermen to have. The fleeced lining feels nice and soft and provides more than enough warmth during cold weather fishing days.
The Built-in breathable neck gaiter is one of the best features of the hoodie, ten holes in a triangle pattern are positioned perfectly to allow air to flow from inside, making breathing so much easier.
Another great simple feature is the thumb holes at the end of the sleeves. This is perfect for anglers as this prevents the sleeves from slipping; when we are fishing, we always move around when casting and preparing bait and rigs. This is a really helpful addition!
At the hood area near the neck are two drawstrings that can be tightened for the right fit around the neck. They are also super easy to push and release.
Its deep hood design does a great job of completely covering your head, and even placing a fishing hat or a beanie underneath, it can hold them perfectly in position in conjunction with the adjustable drawcords.
In the five different color options, there are some differences in the print. No logo is imprinted down the sleeves in the mossy wood and the autumn forest choices. The dark heather grey, black, and dark blue has the Bassdash logo. The mossy wood and autumn forest are a nice camo print, which is great for anglers and perfect for those who go hunting during the colder climate. My personal favorite, and the one I purchased, is the dark heather grey. I feel this color option blends in well with the background, giving a better cover, and it also can be worn when I’m not fishing.
Combine the warmth with the built-in gator, and you have a perfect combination. Your neck and face will be warm despite any wind or precipitation. You’re getting a great deal for mid-range pricing at almost 50% less than other hoodies for this quality. Don’t miss this opportunity!
